600 of you now get this on a Friday. Thank you for being here this early — half of you open it, which is not something a young list can take for granted.

This issue carries 18 events through the end of November: seven countries and five online. Most are onchain and digital assets — bitcoin, stablecoins, tokenisation, ETPs. The rest are the rooms where that meets payments, banking, capital markets and policy. Week 45 alone has six, four of them on the same two days: Stockholm, Riga, Tallinn, Fornebu and Amsterdam at once.

Two of them are ours: Impact Onchain with FirstBlock-athon Stockholm on 4 November, in English, and tomorrow's studio conversation with Bitcoinpolitisk Institutt Norge, in Norwegian.

UPCOMING LIVE EVENTS

Hvem lytter til Bitcoin i Norge?

BPI in the Kaupr studio

A Kaupr virtual event with Bitcoinpolitisk Institutt Norge · Saturday 31 October · 15:00–16:30 CET · Live online · In Norwegian

Hvem lytter til Bitcoin i Norge? A Kaupr virtual event with Bitcoinpolitisk Institutt Norge, Saturday 31 October, 15:00-16:30 CET, live online and free

Who in Norway is actually listening to bitcoin — the banks, the central bank, the politicians? Who listens to BPI itself? And where does bitcoin sit next to stablecoins, tokenisation and the rest of the digital asset wave? Secretary general Morten Søberg and others from the organisation, in the studio.

The date is not an accident: 31 October is the day Satoshi Nakamoto published the bitcoin white paper in 2008. Towards the end of the broadcast we run an open, verifiable draw based on a bitcoin block hash, and bring the winner of BPI's recruitment campaign on live. Free, and it is a webinar, so you can take part in the chat rather than only watch.

Impact Onchain

From hackathon to real projects

A Kaupr virtual event with FirstBlock-athon Stockholm · Wednesday 4 November · 11:00–12:30 CET · Live online

Impact Onchain, from hackathon to real projects. A Kaupr virtual event with FirstBlock-athon Stockholm, Wednesday 4 November, 11:00-12:30 CET, live online and free

In September, eight teams spent five days building in Stockholm. Then everyone went home.

This event is about what happens next. Not a look back at the hackathon, but a look at what it actually takes to turn five days of building into a project that survives contact with the real world — funding, partners, pilots, and the people who have to say yes.

It is also about blockchain beyond finance more broadly. The question is not limited to the eight challenge areas from September, and neither are the people we are bringing in.

Speakers and programme announced shortly. Free, live on Kaupr.io and YouTube, with the recording available afterwards.

Registration opens here first, before anywhere else. Register for Impact Onchain →
